The Litter-Robot arrives almost fully assembled and ready to run. You just have to position it on a firm, level surface, plug it in, add clumping cat litter, and turn it on.
Each time your cat uses the litter box, the Litter-Robot’s weight sensor will detect their presence in the globe. Several minutes later, it will initiate a cycle. The Litter-Robot globe rotates counterclockwise to send all of the litter through a screen, separating clean litter from dirty clumps. Clumps drop into the waste drawer, while clean litter returns to the globe base, ready for your cat to use again. The entire cleaning cycle takes about 2 ½ minutes and is 100% hands-free.

I absolutely love this as do my cats. I have 4 and this has completely changed the game for me. It has reduced the smell in my house and reduced the amount of litter I use. If things keep going, I'll make back my money in just the amount of litter I save.
Overall I love it! I live in a small apartment and wanted to avoid the stank that every owner knows too well… Mittens took to it immediately and the transition period was easy.
