Vacuum

It took me a couple of times to get the floor plan in the app correctly, but that was the only frustration.  Every time it cleans it gets an amazing amount of dirt out! And it works its way into lots of tiny spots.

I have used the Neato D7 daily, for several weeks now. My beautiful long-haired cat, gets to stay now.  :-)
I do wish the filters were washable though. But, I can't give it less than 5 stars. It's a great help. Love the technology.  It remembers, so it doesn't bang into things, has a wonderful battery life.

This Vacuum has been great! I have four pets and I can't keep up with the amount of fur they shed all over the house. My husband and I researched a lot on vacuum before getting this one. The main reasons we got it is it is good on carpet and hardwood, it is shaped to fit corners, and its vacuum bin is bigger so it does not need to be emptied as frequently. I also really think the fact is lazers out a floor plan and learns the best way to vacuum is awesome too. Oh, and it gets under the beds, which we cant do with a normal vacuum. My cat sleeps under there and that vacuum picks up SO much fur. It has helped with my allergies a little more too. I definitely think it was worth the investment.

Stop Looking and Buy This One!

This vacuum was very easy to setup and use.  Does a great job overall and looking to get another.

Works awesome

Unless you are a whiz with electronics, do not buy this thing. The performance is good as in the auction, but using their app is next to worthless. I have had it three weeks and I have YET to get it to create a map of my house. I am trying not to get discouraged, but there is a support group for owners of the NEATO on Facebook where I have gotten additional advice and instructions. The users instructional manual is WORTHLESS.

Frustrating, at best.

We are having difficulties with it not going over floor vents, running consistently on schedule, however, when it does work it’s strong suction. Contacted the company with no response. Would return it if we could.

Disappointed

I purchased the Neato Botvac two years ago. When it worked, I loved it. However durability and Customer Service are severely lacking. The first unit I purchased lasted about 11 months until the laser just suddenly stopped working. The unit was under warranty and they replaced it. The second unit lasted about 6 months before I started to get an arbitrary error that the dirt bin was not in. You literally have to follow the unit around the house and every time it stops and gives the error you have to lift up the dirt bin and then push it back down and then resume cleaning. This happens at least once every 2 minutes!! Neato will not do anything to help because they say the 1 year warranty only covers the original unit from the original purchase date. So I spent $700 for 16 months of useful life! For all of the reviewers giving high ratings, brace yourself - these units do not last.  Do yourself a favor and buy a Roomba

Will become a very expensive paper weight

If you purchase one of the Neato products, you will not receive customer service as the company sold out to a company called Vorwerk. Supposedly they have promised to support the Neato for five more years but I have yet to hear back from them regarding questions regarding my mother's Neato app. Be aware!

A lot of us may know A few days ago I received the D7 because I am a long time neato user Iâve always use the D3 or D4 but since this vacuum was on sale and all the features it has were very enticing I decided to get it but like many others are experiencing I am experiencing where after he completes his first run and mapping I go in and create the no go zones and cleaning zones and when I click on save it will pop up system error then the vacuums Wi-Fi will disconnect for about a minute or two and then reconnect and itâs a hit and miss once I click start to clean it will either clean or it will keep saying no floor plan found and nothing in the home has been moved the charging base has not been touched it is a major issue with this software with this model I thought I got a defective one so I went ahead and re-ordered but then I started reading the reviews today and ended up having to cancel my replacement order and decided to go with a Robo rock but beware after you do your initial mapping and set up zones and no go zones youâre more than likely are going to get navigation error no floorplan found Donât bother remapping because itâs not that it is some type of glitch or software issue it will start running possibly after an hour or you just Gotta keep clicking start on the app until it finally decides it wants to go
