I recently started my 2 adult male cats smalls wet food. Prior to that they had a dry and wet food rotation diet.
My question is: is it OK to feed them half the recommended amount from smalls each night and let them graze on costco dry food during the day?
Hi Marcy! There's no reason you can't feed half Smalls and half dry food. I'd just suggest measuring out the portion of dry food to make sure they're getting enough calories (or if they're overweight, not too many). Basically, just refer to the feeding guidelines on the dry food package to determine what a whole day's worth of food would be then measure out half of that amount into the bowl in the morning. If your cats don't finish it by dinner time, you can leave it out or offer a little extra Smalls to make up the difference.
