Cats can drink mineralized water with a pH of 8.5-9.5, but it's not what they're used to in the wild. Most of the time, it won't hurt them, but some cats with health issues might need different water because certain medical conditions, like kidney problems or urinary tract issues, require special dietary management. For example, cats with urinary problems might need water with a specific pH level to help prevent crystals or stones from forming in their urinary tract. Therefore, it's important to give these cats the right type of water to support their health
