Can anyone give me any advice on this? My cat is less than a year old. She has always had strange breathing and recently she had fluid from one ear. The breathing the vet intially thought was asthma but after listening to recording and a her breathing in person says her lungs sound healthy no fluid build up and that doesn’t sound like it and the sound is more situated in the top of the head. The swab of ear drainage shows no infection but was too inflamed to see anything. Her blood count and all other blood work is normal. My regular vet doesn’t have the scope to see in the throat and nose so we’re going to see another vet who does hopefully for a polyp removal surgery.
My question being does it sound like this is a accurate diagnosis and removal of a nasopharyngeal polyp???
