Hello,
Grandorf is one of the pet food brands that’s available in my country and its products seem like they’re of premium quality. Has anyone tried this brand? How does it compare to other brands with a favorable review on this website?

Hi Calenyaa, I haven't tried Grandorf but I'm happy to take a look at some products and give you my initial thoughts.
Overall, I'd say that the food looks pretty good. I like that the brand offers plenty of information about the ingredients they use (and the ones they don't use). The food seems to be geared toward cats with food allergies or sensitivities but I can see them being a good choice for any cat. If a sensitivity arises in the future, it's always easier to pin it down if the food contains only one or two proteins and limited carbohydrate sources.
Of the two product lines, I prefer the Holistic & Hypoallergenic line because it doesn't rely heavily on peas (the Fresh line does). Whole grains are preferable as a carbohydrate source for cats because they're more easily digestible, so your cat will likely absorb more nutrients from the food. Products from both lines are energy-dense, so your cat won't need large portions (that helps keep costs down).
Both product lines appear to be pretty high in carbohydrates, though that's common for dry food over wet food. There's no AAFCO statement of nutritional adequacy (not surprising since it's made in Belgium, not the US) but the inclusion of supplements leads me to believe the formulas meet similar nutrient minimums. Overall, I'd say the food might be worth a try if it's in your budget and easily accessible for you.
@kate Thanks a ton for looking into the brand! I really appreciate your insight into this 🙂
