Hello, I am looking for recommendations on toys that will interact with and entice my cat to play while I’m at work or busy at home. Electronic toys, toys that need to be installed in the house, anything is fine. Thanks!

As for more general recommendations, my cats love having window perches set up in various rooms so they can see different views of the outside while I'm gone. Cat trees that have built-in scratchers (like sisal rope wrapped around the posts) are great for exercise and mental stimulation, especially if you hide or hang different toys on them.
If you want a DIY option, you could create a sensory box for your cat and fill it with different objects each time you leave the house. Basically, you take a shoebox (or something similar in size) and cut holes around the outside just big enough for your cat to reach a paw into. Then, you place different objects in the box and seal it shut. This works well with objects from the outside (like pinecones, etc.) that will have an unfamiliar scent to them that will entice your cat's curiosity.
Keep in mind that any toy you buy will eventually lose its appeal (cats get bored easily), so what I like to do is keep new toys out for a few days and then put them away for a while. I basically rotate my cats' toy collection so old toys feel new again and I'm not constantly spending. Hope that helps!
