Cat over grooming Resulting in Bald Spot
My cat always liked grooming/cleaning herself. Just a few weeks ago, I noticed a bald spot slightly above her right leg with a scab. I took her to the vet who said it was due to stress and that she was overgrooming that one spot resulting in the hair loss and scab.

What to feed stray cats?
Myself and the neighbors have been feeding 2 outdoor cats. One male, one female. The neighbors put out dry food. I told them about the possibility of urinary tract obstruction in male cats, but they still put out dry food, so I put out canned food. I always try to make sure the male gets first crack...

Cats and static electricity
When I pet my cat, he always has a lot of static electricity in his fur. At night I can actually see sparks as I pet him. We live in the dry southwest so maybe that contributes to it, but I’d like to know how to reduce or eliminate it. We don’t have carpet, only hardwood floors.

Is Mercury a problem in cat food with tuna?
My cats love Nulo, a food that earned a good score on Cats.com reviews. I notice that tuna is the 4th ingredient so I understand that it may be a small amount. But is it really ok to have them eat this every day? What about mercury buildup in their little bodies? Has this been studied?
