Cats and static electricity
When I pet my cat, he always has a lot of static electricity in his fur. At night I can actually see sparks as I pet him. We live in the dry southwest so maybe that contributes to it, but I’d like to know how to reduce or eliminate it. We don’t have carpet, only hardwood floors.

Hello! My vet recommended I stay away from grain free with legumes due to the HCM risk showing up in dogs and some cats. I took her advice because she thought she noticed a mild heart murmur during her first visit almost 2 years ago (but hasn’t noticed it since) and at another appointment she commen...

Is Mercury a problem in cat food with tuna?
My cats love Nulo, a food that earned a good score on Cats.com reviews. I notice that tuna is the 4th ingredient so I understand that it may be a small amount. But is it really ok to have them eat this every day? What about mercury buildup in their little bodies? Has this been studied?
