Most cats are pretty finicky. They know what they like and they expect their humans to accommodate accordingly!

Cyrus the cat, though, has always been special. He’ll do anything as long as his dad is by his side. And now, there’s also his cat sibling Dandy, who has followed in his footsteps.

These cats explore the outdoors, swing on the swingset, and more. It’s never a dull moment with them!

“Let’s Try Him on the Swing!”

Cyrus’ dad says that one day, his daughter thought it would be fun to put Cyrus into a baby swing at the park. He thought there was no way a cat would enjoy something like that, but was quickly proven wrong.

Even when she started pushing him, Cyrus stayed put. He sat on the swingset for about 20-30 minutes, perfectly content.

Now, he swings all of the time! When he’s ready to stop, he simply hops out and goes to explore the rest of the park.

Dad’s Best Friend

Cyrus is an exceptionally adaptable cat. He’s also his dad’s very best friend, or, as he calls him, his “alien BFF.”

He adopted Cyrus for his daughter’s sixth birthday, and since then, they’re always together. Cyrus spends most of their outings hanging out on his dad’s shoulder.

As long as his dad is with him, Cyrus is willing to try almost anything. He’s usually very calm, but even when he’s scared at first, he usually comes around. “There’s no limits to what we can do,” his dad says.

He loves cats in general, but is awed by Cyrus’ trust and bravery. He’s an incredible cat!

A New Addition to the Family

Having one cat was so great that the family decided to adopt another! They were initially told that Dandy was a girl, but he ended up being “the most wonderful boy.” He spends his days glued to Cyrus’ side and wants to do everything he does.

The two will sit on the same swing at the park, or climb trees together. Dandy will wrap his tail around Cyrus when he’s feeling a little nervous, and he looks up to him like an older brother. Their dad has loved watching them bond, and learning all of the quirks that make them unique.

While Cyrus tends to quietly take things in before he interacts, Dandy is more outgoing! He loves to play fetch, groom his dad, and pester Cyrus like a true younger brother.

The two things that make him happy, their dad says, are his daughter and his daughter’s cats. His relationship with them brings so much joy and love to his life, and he’ll forever be changed by this amazing duo.
