Now that my two cats are well into their senior years, I find myself spending more time researching things I can do to keep them healthy. All recipes are free from corn, wheat, and soy as well as unnecessary fillers and artificial additives.

Though many of Fera Pets’ recipes are formulated for both dogs and cats, the brand recently launched a limited line of products designed specifically for cats, including the following:

Lysine Immune – A blend of botanicals and science-backed ingredients formulated to support gut health and immunity.

Most of Fera Pets’ supplements come in powder form, designed to be sprinkled over your cat’s food or mixed right in. You can find Fera Pets products online, though availability may vary depending on the product. What Did Our Test Cats Think?

To test Fera Pets supplements, I focused on one of the new cat-specific formulas: Kidney Support. I received a three-month supply and started mixing the powder into my oldest cat, Munchkin’s, daily wet food. Chicken bone broth is a key ingredient, making the recipe a no-go for my other cat, Biscuit, who is allergic to chicken.

I was immediately impressed with the easy-to-administer powdered formulation. The powder is incredibly fine, so it mixes well with wet cat food. I also tried dusting some dry food with it and found it worked equally well.

Munchkin didn’t seem to mind the flavor of the supplement and Biscuit tried to sneak a sample a few times, so it must’ve smelled good to her. It’s hard to say whether Munchkin experienced any measurable benefits after three weeks of testing, especially considering her bloodwork revealed no signs of kidney problems during her annual checkup at the start of the year.

It’s also worth noting that Fera Pets’ cat-specific supplements are still relatively new, so customer reviews are limited. As a whole, however, pet parents seem to have positive experiences with the brand and my personal experience aligned with many of the reviews I read during my research.
