Ah, the exquisite, exotic Toyger cat! This fine feline, the result of breeding Bengal cats with domestic shorthair cats that have tabby markings, indeed looks like a toy-sized tiger with the same stripes. Yet, Toyger cats are fully domestic and friendly, and they form deep bonds with their humans and other animals.
You will likely never own a Toyger, as it is one of the rarest cat breeds: As of 2020, fewer than 500 Toygers were registered worldwide! A “Meet My Parents” reel showing wild tigers makes a playful nod to the Toyger’s resemblance to tigers. In this reel, the cats’ dad interviews the cats about their roles as social media influencers while waving a teaser toy. And here is “bro-bonding” with fun wrestling play!
I cannot tell these cats apart, and the page doesn’t make clear which cat is Arturo and which one is Costantino. But the two Toygers are a pair, so the distinction almost doesn’t matter when enjoying their adorable photos together. We do know that this kitten is Costantino, who joined his family in 2023.
