8 Adorable Devon Rex Cats Taking Over Instagram

The Devon Rex breed features cats with coats made of soft, ultra-fine, silky curls. Combine that with the breed’s pixielike facial features, petite size, and sociable, doglike purrsonality, and the Devon Rex has much to love!

Many Devon Rex cat parents have shared their fabulous felines on Instagram with their own pages full of cat photos and reels, and I loved checking out these cat profiles and picking eight popular and/or extraordinary Instagram Devon Rex pages, many of which represent a family with more than one “Pixie Cat.”

Note that there are many more worthy Devon Rex accounts with small followings, and I may have missed a big one in the vast Instagram jungle. Check out these eight pages, then search for more curly-haired social media stars!

1. Cookie

This gray and white Devon Rex is so cute! But his yummy-sounding name isn’t the confection-inspired cutesy name you’d think it is. Cookie introduces himself on his Instagram page at @devonrex_cat_cookie with this fun fact: “I’m a programmer’s cat named after browser cookies!” Well, that’s a clever name for a cat whose human is a tech geek.

Cookie does, however, pose for a photo on top of the page of a magazine with a glossy photo of what look to be gingerbread cookies; it was a purrfect pose for the Christmas Eve photo. This page has Cookie in so many festive seasonal settings, like this photo of him by a soon-to-be-carved pumpkin for Halloween. And here, Cookie is all bundled up like a winter cat! You can see Cookie’s evergreen cuteness with this cat yawn and this invitation for a belly rub and this peek outside of a bag. And among the many cute reels, you see Cookie’s playful purrsonality and agility, like when he hops from hanging shelf to shelf.

At the top of his page, Cookie says: “Follow MEow.” Yes, you should do that, and join the more than 1K followers who love his more than 500 posts!

2. Diva and Dibbes

These beautiful cats in the Netherlands, a brother and sister, have gathered almost 3.5K followers at @devonrex_diva_dibbes, and it’s no wonder. They look so adorable together, especially in this photo of Diva and Dibbes cuddling. Sadly, Dibbes is no longer with us – according to the profile, this handsome cat died in 2023. But, the cats’ human is still posting Diva on the page, and Dibbes lives on in digital memory on a page with more than 1.1K photos and reels. This photo shows a sweet memorial display Dibbes’ human set up for this well-loved cat. We see the fun-loving purrsonality Dibbes had in this reel of him playing with a teaser toy.

Diva celebrates Easter here next to a bowl of chocolate eggs. Here, Diva and her toy poodle canine pal wish us a Merry Christmas. Dibbes is so darned cute when he does a “blep” with his tongue here.

3. Dash, Gigi and Nemo

This is a pretty new account with fewer than 1K followers, but it deserves to be discovered. The Instagram page at @dash_gigi_nemo_devon_rex_cat showcases three beautiful Devon Rex cats in more than 700 posts that you can’t miss.

The purebred family includes Dash, a chocolate Devon Rex with deep brown and bronze waves, whose mom calls him part monkey; Gigi is a beautiful lilac with yellow eyes; and youngster Nemo, who has Snowshoe-like markings in shades of gray, cream and white. Nemo and Dash look so funny in a wrestling match here!

Nemo looks adorable here as the cat asks you to help the page reach 1K followers. Will you join them? You will love these cats!

4. PJ and Reesa

These two Devon Rex housemates, online at @pjthedevonrex, are so cute! The PJ half of the duo is an orange tabby with white and a stubby orange mustache, and Reesa is a beautiful, curly-haired white cat that looks angelic sleeping in this photo. And don’t these stinkers look adorable together on a blanket?

Reesa stands up on her hind legs like a prairie dog with this text from her human: “Is that the ice cream truck?” Look at this heart-melting, precious photo of Reesa as a tiny kitten, whose human calls her the snuggliest, puffiest, velvetiest queen of the house.”

Both PJ, who is from Canada, and Reesa, who is from Ukraine, send their Valentine’s Day wishes to their more than 5.4K followers! I recommend you join them. These Devon Rex felines are irresistible.

This exquisite cat has the coloring of a Siamese, but the body and wavy fur of the Devon Rex, with gorgeous results. Archie – short for the funny mouthful name Archibald Gleep Ben Daali – is about a year and a half old, according to the bio on his Instagram page @sir.archie.of.devon. This handsome cat looks adorable posing in a sweater, snuggling in a blanket on Christmas Eve, and cuddling with his human mom.

Archie’s account is fairly new. Enjoy gazing at this Siamese-colored Devon Rex, and join the 1.1K followers!

6. Morgana

This gorgeous Devon Rex, who lives in Italy and is nicknamed “Morghy,” sports amazing curls of black and a coppery color. She – I am assuming female, because gender isn’t stated – appears in so many adorable poses. She is all bundled up in a sweater for winter here. Morgana, on Instagram at @morgana_the_devon, is wearing a purrfectly matching black and orange cape on Halloween night here. She is all stretched out on a rug here, and doing morning stretches under the covers here. Awww – don’t you just want to climb into bed with Morgana and cuddle?

7. Bluey and Trixie

I knew these Devon Rex sisters were bound to be mischievous and entertaining when I saw their human describe them as the “Devon Wrecks” on their Instagram page at @bluey_and_trixie_devonrex. These creamy-colored littermates are beautiful to look at and fun to watch. As their human, “Amanda H,” writes: “They are here to entertain and create chaos.”

Amanda’s Trixie is a beautiful dilute calico, and Bluey is an orange tabby who likes to play with the robot vacuum cleaner. The girls look so cute here napping together. No wonder this page has more than 5.7K followers!

8. Ruby

Ruby, a beautiful white Devon Rex, looks angelic on her page at @devon_rex_life. Born in 2015, this senior lady Devon rex has wavy white locks, grayish blue eyes, and a soulful gaze. Ruby intently watches TV for cats while surely fantasizing about the birds, and lounges in an empty cardboard shipping box from Chewy. Here, Ruby nuzzles horses through a screen.

Another Devon Rex named Chilli Bella lives on at this page; she passed on to the Rainbow Bridge in 2019, a month before her human brought home Ruby. Chilli Bella, a “perfect little princess,” looked like a little Devon Rex cow with her white fur with big black spots and a black cap. Can’t you just picture Chilli Bella saying “Huh, human?” in this photo where she sports a cute sweater?
