I’ve always loved watching my cats play together. Seeing them bond is so rewarding, and they can also get up to some hilarious stunts.
Just like this smart cat, Lola, who props her hind legs up on the wall and launches herself at her sister! It’s important to reach maximum speed during playtime, after all.
How Did She Think of This?
Lola’s mom has no idea how Lola came up with the idea to launch herself off of the wall. She just started doing it one day! Cats can be much smarter than some people give them credit for.
Whether Lola accidentally realized that propping her back legs onto the wall could give her more speed or did it on purpose, it’s now a regular part of her playtime ritual.
She loves to launch herself at her toys, her sister… Anything that might play with her!
That’s not the only mischief that Lola and her sister Rosie get up to, either. They also love digging in their mom’s houseplants and even toppling them over.
“Sometimes when we get home,” she says, “we see Lola is just laying on her back in the dirt.”
Adopted Sisters Coming Together

Lola and Rosie aren’t biological sisters, but they were adopted one year apart from one another.
Rosie was said to be a super shy, timid cat who didn’t let her foster family interact with her. But when she met her mom, she came out of her shell within minutes!
The foster family was shocked. As Rosie purred in her mom’s lap, they all knew it was meant to be. Even today, she always wants to be close. She’ll follow her around the house and hang out while she’s cooking, waiting for her to stop and give Rosie some attention!
With one perfect cat at home, their mom wasn’t looking for another. But when she met Lola, she fell in love.
She says that Lola makes the silliest expressions, and sometimes forgets her tongue is hanging out of her mouth. She always has an endearing little blep.
Fostering Kittens

Lola and Rosie get along great with each other. Their mom says they’re always together and love bossing each other around.
She also occasionally fosters kittens, which the girls are happy to help with in their own ways.
Rosie acts as disciplinarian, teaching the kittens how to respect personal space and the boundaries of older cats. Meanwhile, Lola is a mother hen. She’s very careful with the kittens and loves grooming them.
Overall, the girls have improved their mom’s life so much. Her house would feel empty without them! They bring so much life and joy to her world, and she’s always happy to come home because she knows they’re there waiting.
