Kamil’s mom isn’t sure whether she rescued a cat or a hedgehog! This silly cat curls up in a ball to sleep, tucking his head beneath his body.
This isn’t Kamil’s only quirk, though. Some are caused by his disability, while others come from his huge personality. Let’s dive in and learn more about this unique cat!
Nothing Can Stop Kamil!
Kamil’s mom works at an animal clinic. When he was brought in, she says that she knew immediately that he was special. She took him home to keep an eye on him, and then he never left!
He wiggled his way into his mom’s heart–and under her blankets. While he isn’t cuddly during the day, he has a silly nighttime routine where he sits on his mom’s pillow until she pulls back the covers for him to snuggle under. If she doesn’t listen, he just sits on her head until she complies.
Kamil came into the clinic with a small injury, which he quickly healed from. He returned to normal–playing, eating, and bouncing around the house.
Unfortunately, he later began to have frequent seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. But, according to Kamil’s mom? Nothing can slow him down!
He’s Full of Surprises

According to his mom, Kamil is full of surprises. Some good, and some bad.
Soon after his adoption, she lost him in the house. Where could a little cat hide when there was no way for him to escape outside?
Inside of the ceiling, of course! It turns out, Kamil had found a small hole, climbed right in, and got himself stuck. It took his mom a day and a half to get him back out.
The next surprise wasn’t as shocking, but it was sad. Kamil had always been a tiny cat, looking like a kitten well into his adulthood. When the seizures started, his veterinarian ran several tests and scans, hoping to find the cause.
During one of these scans, they found a small deformity in his brain. This explained his epilepsy, as well as his small size.
A Miracle Cat

Kamil is his mom’s miracle cat, and she feels grateful for every moment they spend together. She finds so much joy in the way he lives life, and in sharing his story with others to make them smile.
He’s a real fighter, but you’d never know it by looking at him. He just seems like a happy, free-spirited kitten. Kamil’s definitely a troublemaker, his mom says, but that’s part of his charm.
And although he’ll never grow to the size of your typical adult cat, his big personality more than makes up for it. He acts as king of the house, even chasing the much larger cat, Witse, around. Unfortunately, Witse is kind of afraid of him!
Kamil shows us that every cat deserves a chance to live a happy life, even if it takes some extra care to make that happen.
