With long, thick, luxurious coats, adorable flat faces, and sweet and gentle purrsonalities, people all over the world have loved the Persian cat since ancient times. Cats that look like Persians have appeared on hieroglyphics as far back as around 1684 B.C.!
Now, in our modern Internet-based world, numerous Persian cats enchant thousands of fans on their Instagram accounts with pictures and reels showcasing their beauty and sweet purrsonalities. Here are seven of our favorite Persian pages on Instagram.
1. Morris

When we think of a cat named Morris, we think of the orange tabby 9Lives icon. But, another celebrity cat named Morris has gathered more than 175,000 followers who ohh and ahh over this cream and white mop of fur and his more than 3,900 posts.
Check out @morris_the_persian_cat, whose page introduces “Mo and Bo”: Morris, 13, and his 7-year old brother Bogart, who is an Exotic Shorthair. Besties Mo and Bo look so cute together, like in this reel where the two cats are lounging together on the couch. Mo and Bo tease you with their tongues in this reel, with Morris’ flat Persian face sticking out of a kissing booth costume!
In this cute reel, both Morris and his human dad stick out their tongues and make funny faces. Morris shows off his Canadian pride with flags and a sweater, pictures both posed with Morris in a red wheelbarrow.
2. Polly and Percy

This page, @therealpercythepersian, is both a memorial for an orange tabby Persian named Percy, who died in December 2024, and a showcase of the living Persian named Polly. This blonde beauty, born sometime in 2020, joined the human family in March 2025.
With a whopping 8,900-something posts, Percy and Polly offer much delight on this page for Persian lovers. Look at cute little Polly as a poofy kitten with her favorite mouse toy – so very cute! And here, Polly is grumpy with the Monday blues.
Percy’s human wrote a tearjerking tribute to her beloved orange Persian in this six-month anniversary post after his euthanasia. In a happier reel, check out Percy all decked out in his Irish garb for St. Patrick’s Day.

3. Tinkerbell

Oh, sweet Tinkerbell! This old lady is 17 years old and a rescue who is living out her years in a loving home in Spokane, Washington. Tinkerbell is a beautiful silver-shaded chinchilla Persian who has several cute cat quirks like loving Cheerios, licking plastic, and camping in her tiny tent. You can go to her page @persian_tinkerbell, and you’ll want to be added to the list of 16.8K followers, who can view more than 5,400 posts.
Tinkerbell has such a sweet face and gorgeous fur coat. In reels, we see her doing cute cat things like meowing for dinner when her human enters the kitchen. Hear Tinkerbell’s soothing purr motor running here.

4. Elvis, Bella, and Esther

Sadly, the namesake of the page @persian_elvis passed away in August of 2024 at age 12. But two other Persians – Bella, a silver shaded and black cat; and Esther, who has whitish hair with gray tips – now live with the same human family in Norway.
Look at poofy little baby Esther – isn’t she just adorable? She looks so much like patriarch Elvis, with her fur color. Older sister Bella is beautiful with her two-toned fur. Here is a sweet reel labeled “Best Friends” showing the two sisters rubbing against each other in affectionate feline style. And here, Elvis drinks from a running faucet.

What beauties these Persian gals are! No wonder their owner labels them as fashion models and “sassy but classy” on their page at @mia.la.persiana. Mia looks like peaches and cream with her two-toned light orange and cream fur, and Sophie has a tri-colored long, flowing calico coat.
Sophie looks so sassy with her “Tongue Out Tuesday” pose, and Mia oozes feline contentment in her spreadeagle pose. Sophie sticks her calico head out of a tunnel in this cute photo, and Mia looks like a lioness roaring here. In this reel, the “sisters in crime” check out a gourd on the kitchen table, a forbidden place. But since when do cats care if they are not allowed somewhere?

He looks adorable in rabbit ears on Easter in this photo, and in a raincoat for April showers. He looks like a little doll! Vino is 12 years old now, but check out this photo from his first vet visit to see him as a kitten; he looks like a poofy cotton ball.
