Equipped with a built-in fragrance box that lasts up to 30 days, the TY Pro releases a light, fresh scent after each use to help combat odors without overwhelming sensitive feline noses. It also features a UV sterilization system that automatically activates after cleaning cycles, helping to sanitize the interior and keep things fresh between manual cleanings.
Scatter control is impressive. The TY Pro features a ridged entry step and includes a removable litter mat with a grating system, designed to trap stray particles and reduce mess across your floors. The tray easily separates for dumping and cleaning.

The TY Pro’s design is modern and sleek, with a curved barrel silhouette and a soft white finish, and does not clash with your home decor. The entry is wide and low (10.24 inches across), making it easy to access for cats of all sizes and ages. We also appreciated the included grated litter mat, which fits securely in place and detaches effortlessly for easy cleaning, making cleanup a breeze.

Our test cats responded in different ways. One of the more cautious cats needed several days before finally trying it. He used it once and walked away without any fuss and clearly not blown away. Our other cat jumped in immediately and became obsessed with the cleaning cycle, often watching it like it was a performance.
The enclosed design offers a sense of privacy, and the TY Pro’s cleaning mechanism only activates after the cat has exited. The quiet operation (just 36 dB) and gentle motion helped prevent any startle responses, even with our more sensitive cat.
We were impressed by the sliding-access waste drawer, which uses self-sealing bags to trap odors and minimize exposure to waste. While these bags are specially made for the unit, they are easy to install and work effectively.
