Negative Customer Reviews
“I have never felt compelled to leave a cat litter product review until now. As a cat parent for 30 years, I’ve tried many different brands. Paws & Claws Fresh-N-Free Unscented Clumping Cat Litter is the worst cat litter I’ve ever used. I cannot stress enough how unbearably dusty it is, even with a mask! Do not purchase this if you have a breathing issue or allergies. Also, it’s supposed to be fragrance-free but has a very unpleasant smell. I will be returning asap.”- by chasingamy99 from Stoneville, NC reviewing Paws & Claws Fresh-N-Free Unscented Clumping Cat Litter
“I am very disappointed with this litter. I normally use another brand, but was ant TSC and bought this while getting chick feed. It is soooooooooo dusty. Besides the dust it is super hard to scoop off the bottom of the litter box. Although not advertised as “slide” litter, other brands are not either and scoop super easy off the bottom. I will never buy this again. Terrible waste of my money. Very poor odor control as well.” -by Granny Jo from Ray, Ohio reviewing Paws & Claws Fresh-N-Free Unscented Clumping Cat Litter
How Much Does Paws & Claws Cat Litter Cost?
The Paws & Claws brand of cat litter overall is very affordable. All three of the formulas reviewed here are priced under $0.50 per pound, with the greatest savings coming from buying the larger buckets. Because Paws & Claws cat litter clumps so well, you waste less litter which saves money over time.
Overall, Is Paws & Claws Cat Litter A Good Choice?
Paws & Claws is a highly affordable brand of cat litter, but their products are also good. All three of the formulas we reviewed formed hard, tight clumps and offered decent odor control, even in a multi-cat household.
Paws & Claws brand does have scented formulas that are tolerable, but some customers found that the scent unpleasant and it didn’t last long. If you or your cat is sensitive to fragrances, you may want the unscented formula.
Where Is Paws & Claws Cat Litter Sold?
Paws & Claws Cat Litter is sold in store and online from Tractor Supply.
Is this brand cruelty free??
Good question! I’ve not seen any indication one way or the other. The company that makes this product as well as other pet products, doesn’t say anything about their policies on this.
Totally disagree about clump & scoo.p. it’s retains smell of urine very strongly. And does not absorb well or clump well. So.if you sift ( as I do) the urine soaked litter just passes through. Could not possibly recommend and have to wonder how you possibly could. Hard to believe that you are unbiased
We were not paid, nor did we receive free products for this review. Sometimes different people and cats have vastly differing experiences with a single product, and we’ve also seen products change in quality over time. I really appreciate you sharing your experience to help us and other readers understand how this product works.
