Autumn may be a single season, but you could divide it into two distinct themed halves: Halloween season and Thanksgiving season. I have some all-season autumn decorations – like fake pumpkins, leaves, and acorns – that stay up from late September through late November, and after Halloween, I switch out Halloween-specific decorations for Thanksgiving decorations.

I have bought a few of these themed, decorated, carved statues from Etsy seller TheSimplyRusticHome, and I love them! The statues, which are cat-shaped and have raffia bow ties, stand about 7 inches tall on tabletops and overlook rooms like a watchful cat. The cats come in several autumn designs. I bought the one that shows orange pumpkins and leaves on a white background. Other autumn designs include blue pumpkins with acorns and leaves, bold designs with big and colorful leaves, sunflowers, fall plaids, and a woodland scene.

I just had to get this cute throw blanket, which has a pattern including pumpkins, leaves, and lanterns – and, of course, lots of cats! The cats on this throw, which comes in four sizes on Wayfair, include a cream-colored cat, an orange-and-white tabby, a black-and-white tuxedo, a calico, and a black cat. I’m going to snuggle up with this throw and a cat or two and watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

This little washable rug, available to order on the Walmart website, is so cute that I put it right by my bed! The kitten rugs come in two autumn styles: a cream-colored kitten with pumpkins and leaves, which I ordered, and an orange tabby kitten with pumpkins and leaves. The rug has a soft, fuzzy feel and has a nonslip base. You can bring the autumn and Thanksgiving spirit to any room in your house, feline style.

Aww, two cats in Pilgrim costumes – what could be cuter at Thanksgiving time? I will be hanging this garden flag, available on Amazon, on the stake near my front door to announce myself as a cat lover in November. The illustration on the flag shows one cat in a black-and-white Pilgrim costume and another cat in a pinkish Pilgrim dress. They look all ready for Thanksgiving dinner with a lit candle and pumpkins. Time for turkey for these cats!

Your cats might not be able to safely eat much of your Thanksgiving feast, but you can give them their own version with festive, crinkly, catnip-stuffed toys shaped like Thanksgiving food and autumn symbols.
